Behobia-Donosti... And then surfing in Zarautz

Last year this same day, it was raining cats and dogs, and it was impossible to stay outside, but today, the 13th of November, the sun was shining and it was 24º, too hot for a winter day, its not normal here in this area of the world... But no complains.








As it was a surprisingly great weekend, we went to see the yearly marathon from Behobia in the Spanish / French border to Donosti... Cheering the people who had the courage to run this 20 km long marathon...

It was incredible how many people there was.. They just kept on coming.... I believe there was 23.000 more or less. Its some of a challenge, and even though its hard, some people had the strenght to add some humor, as running with a costume,,.. Jejej, funny guys... But what most impressed me was, that there was also a couple of blind girls who ran the marathon, they where accompanied but it was amazing to see that even though they can not see, that will not stop them to have this experience it has to be running 20 km with other 23.000 people... Respect.....

After cheering the marathon participates we went surfing as always, but this time we went to Zarautz.





it's one of my favorite places, this beach is more noble,its not like the waves in France because they can get quit nasty sometimes, no Zarautz has something special, maybe that's why so many surfers live there, or the people who lives there end up surfing.. Don't know, but every time i go the I always meet tourists from all over the world, or known faces from where i life,,. So there must be something about this beach that attracts all of them.....
