Altea getting older but more interesting.

When you enter the old town from the Street, Calle Alcoy, which will lead you to the famouse church of Altea, this is the view that welcomes you.

This is one of my favorite places, its not only because of its beaty, but as it is a artistic old town, it also inspires me, the energy that flows through these streets are incredible, its like coming home.
I lived there before, this is true, but it still gives me the same feeling even thought its been 7 years. i remember enjoying every day walking the streets, sencing everything, even the stray cats are tame.. Well its hard for me to explain, not only because my english is getting worse with the years living here in spain, but also its a feeling you can only share by beeing there at the same time.

But i can strongly recomend going there, so much in the day time as i the night time, its a very spanish place, at night, its the place the locals go to party or to have a drink or two, well of course in the summertime, in the month of juli and august, there are a lot of turist of course, well i does not matter, but its different.. the best month to go i belive is in June or then in september, october, because its still hot, but there are not so many people around.

This is a very special place, and i hope it will keep it self like that, as you will see in all my photos the streets are very clean, and allmost look untouched, i hope everybody will respect this, and go there to enjoy the good energy it gives you....;)

Well I have a lot more to tell you about this place close to the horrible, Benidorm. But i will have to save it for another day. Dont hesitat to ask though...

Ps. if you like my pictures, you can also se my art-photos i had exposed in the art gallery in Hendaye, France... www.camdenartgallery.com
